NOTICE OF SPECIAL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF MEMBERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the SPECIAL Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Athletics Alberta (Track and Field, Cross Country, Road Running) Association (the “Association”)
will be held in Edmonton Alberta, at the Percy Page Center on the 30th day of July, 2019 at 7:00 P.M (Room 7, second floor) for the following purposes:
- To receive the report on the association Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending March 31 2019, and to approve the budget for the 2019/2020 fiscal year. Please note that those members from out of town will be able to join the conference via an online meeting format.

Further to the meeting held July 30, 2019, a follow-up meeting is being called per our Association’s bylaws, Article V, Section 3:
Quorum: Based on Article V, Section 3 of the association bylaws, a quorum necessary for the transaction of business at an annual general, special or general meeting shall be 30 votes present. Proxy votes shall not be included in the 30 votes to constitute a quorum. 2) If no quorum is established at a meeting, a new meeting shall be held within thirty (30) days and the delegates at that meeting, regardless of the number, shall constitute a quorum. 3) For this new meeting only ten (10) days of notification need be given. Therefore, a meeting will be called within 30 (thirty) days to move the financials.
The SGM new meeting will take place in Room 7 at the Percy Page Centre, 11759 Groat Road, Edmonton. Please enter via the back door of the building and sign in with the commissionaire.
