Noel Vanderzee has been nominated by Madison Kane-Rissling, his teammate at UCAC. According to Madison, Noel has demonstrated gratitude for his team, coaches, and track overall. He goes the extra mile to be honest and kind to every athletics member, and it is reflected in his leadership positions and sportsmanship. “His GRIT is unmatched,” says Madison.
Noel demonstrates GRIT both on and off the track. During practices, competitions, and in the classroom, Noel naturally leads by example, looks out for his teammates, and strives to be the best student-athlete and community member he can be.
