Commercial General Liability
Membership with Athletics Alberta has the benefit of insurance. Commercial general liability insurance is provided for our members as a part of the membership fee. Sport injury insurance is not provided as part of the commercial general liability insurance. The coverage is $5 million.
The general liability insurance relates to: All activities associated with training and competing in track and field events, road running events and cross country events that includes coaches, volunteers, officials, clubs, board members.

Directors & Officers Insurance
Often referred to as ‘D&O’, our Clubs are required to have Directors & Officers Insurance as part of the Club Policy. Athletics Alberta offers our Clubs D&O as part of our overall commercial general liability insurance. Clubs must OPT IN to receive this benefit by emailing [email protected].
