NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF MEMBERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Athletics Alberta (Track and Field, Cross Country, Road Running) Association (the “Association”) will be held on the 1st day of May, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. virtually online using ZOOM meeting for the following purposes:
1. To receive the report on the association Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending March 31st, 2021.
2. To receive and approve the 2021-2024 strategic plan.
3. To review and approve the proposed “NEW” $25 recreation membership category.
4. To Review the following updated policies approved by the Athletics Alberta board of Directors:
a. Officials Policy
b. Respect in the workplace and workplace harassment policy
c. Annual awards policy
d. Hall of Fame Policy
5. Elections of Directors for the following positions
a. VP personnel 2-year term
b. VP Admin 2-year term
c. VP Programs 1 year term (Replacement of Robbie Cumming)
d. 2 Directors at Large
6. To transact such other normal business as may properly be brought before the annual general
meeting or any adjournment thereof.
